My journey into tattooing..

During my first year at college, I discovered a love for drawing portraits in my spare time. Even though I was focused on studying human physiology, I dabbled in various hobbies. From starting a makeup artistry business to creating content for a YouTube channel, my creative ventures knew no bounds. As I delved into commission work like graphite drawings and customizing shoes, I never expected it would lead me to an apprenticeship opportunity. The summer of 2021 saw me beginning my journey into tattooing, and since then, I fully committed to this path. Thats my response when people ask me, "How did you get into tattooing?"

A little bit about me..

23 years old, born and raised in Minnesota. My parents moved to the U.S. from Ethiopia 25 years ago. I speak Oromo and studied ASL in college. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Human Physiology. Now working as an artist and exploring other interests, and goals to further education, This is a brief overview of me.

I am very family orientated and a lot of who I am comes from the community I was raised in. My focus remains on family values as I find great satisfaction in working on various projects, exploring different avenues, and traveling whenever possible. My ultimate aspiration is to motivate and guide others in discovering themselves, helping them craft the fulfilling lives they desire.

What’s my why?

My purpose behind what I do is inspired by my younger cousins and the youth in my community. I aim to share the journey I underwent and the lessons I acquired while navigating life beyond the confines of my home. I firmly believe that we have the capacity to surpass the confines and expectations imposed on us by societal and cultural pressures. It is crucial not to fear seeking and cultivating one's God-given skills. These skills can serve not only oneself but also others, ultimately leading us to fulfill our purpose.
